Remote Calibration, Termination, and Separation

To fit a wide variety of application requirements, Det-Tronics offers these termination options.

point IR termination box (PIRTB)

The PIRTB provides termination for the PointWatch PIR9400 gas detector and the PIRECL Pointwatch Eclipse^®gas detector when remote calibration initiation is required. It enables non-intrusive calibration and provides a linear 4-20 mA output signal that corresponds to a LEL % gas concentration. Available with tall or short covers, the PIRTB also can be used to separate a detector and a transmitter.

The PIRTB has FM, CSA, ATEX, and CE approvals.

Sensor Termination Box (STB)

The STB offers a cost-sensitive method to terminate a combustible sensor or any 4-20 mA device. In addition, the STB can be used to separate the sensor and transmitter/display.

The STB has FM, CSA, ATEX, and CE approvals and is available with a variety of port and material configurations.
